Current Status

A Planning Panel hearing for the Oaklands Hill Wind Farm was undertaken in December 2007 and January 2008 to hear submissions in relation to the planning permit application for the project. The Planning Panel report is now complete but has not yet been released into the public domain. A decision from the Minister for Planning regarding planning approval is expected in October 2008.

Pending approval, construction on the project is expected to commence in March 2009.
