A detailed environmental management plan will be developed, in consultation with the equipment supplier, Southern Grampians Shire Council and the Department for Sustainability and Environment prior to any on-site works commencing.
Due to the large number of wind turbines already operating in Australia and elsewhere around the world management of the construction impacts of windfarms is well understood. This knowledge together with the detailed local knowledge held by the Department and the Shire Council will combine to minimise the windfarms impact on the local environment.
